"The Home Song Stories" wins 5 IF Awards

Tony Ayres' The Home Song Stories dominated the 2007 Inside Film Awards, winning a total of 5 awards from 9 nominations.

THE HOME SONG STORIES was the winner in five categories with Tony Ayres winning The Animal Logic IF Award for Best Director and his young star, 13 year old Joel Lok winning The Queensland Event Corporation IF Award for Best Actor. Further success for THE HOME SONG STORIES came in the form of Joan Chen as the winner of The In Style IF Award for Best Actress for her sensational central performance. THE HOME SONG STORIES also won The Kodak IF Award for Best Cinematography (Nigel Bluck) and The Production Book IF Award for Best Production Design (Melinda Doring). Hosted by Julia Zemiro, the star studded event was held at the Crowne Plaza Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast and was broadcast live on SBS.
