This film is a critical spoof on the fashion industry and popular culture in the late 1980s. Roger Beautiful, leading international fashion magazine publisher is on a world-wide search to find “The Face of the 90s” - the model who will lead fashion into a new decade. Whoever he chooses will become an overnight sensation. Stella, a hot contender for the title, is jealously threatened by her friends. She is attacked by flaming arrows and poisoned martinis, knocked out with a chloroform cake and tied in front of a hideous Death Machine. Is life telling her something?…or maybe she is having a bad day.
