A family moves into a lighthouse on an uninhabited and isolated island to recover from the father's nervous breakdown. Their attempt at an idyllic renewal is destroyed when a storm knocks out their communications and washes an unconscious naked girl onto the beach. Soon after her arrival, one thing after another goes wrong and their lives are suddenly at risk. Is she an innocent victim, or is she something more sinister?
